Our specialists have successfully completed the calculation and development of sounding tables for the fuel tanks of a cargo vessel with an overall length of 85.2 meters. The work was carried out in accordance with the Customer technical requirements and in full compliance with international standards for the accurate measurement of liquid volumes in non-standard tank geometries.
During the development process, we took into account the specific shapes of the tanks, their inclination, location onboard the vessel, and the effect of residual volumes. The calibration tables enable precise determination of fuel volume at any filling level, which is essential for vessel operation, inventory control, and safety.
The project was implemented using modern software and 3D modeling of each tank’s internal volume, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
The completed sounding tables have already been delivered to the Client and successfully integrated into the vessel’s technical documentation.
